AFoCO welcomes its first batch of STEP Participants

The 2019 AFoCO Science & Technology Exchange Partnership (STEP) Programis organized in conjunction with the Baekdudaegan National Arboretum (BDNA). The Program’s pioneer batch of trainees will undergo a month-long training program that will focus on topics ranging from the design, construction and operation of arboretums to seed collection and preservation technologies, as well as biodiversity conservation strategies. The five government officials who commenced their course are Mr. Kencho Rigzin from Bhutan, Ms. Nurul Hazlina from Brunei Darussalam, Mr. Meng Loth from Cambodia, Ms. Swe Swe Win from Myanmar, and Ms. Trieu Thi Thu Ha from Viet Nam.
