The Department of Forestry, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Lao PDR, in cooperation with the Asian Forest Cooperation Organization (AFoCO), invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the design and construction services for the Project “Establishment of the ASEAN-Republic of Korea (ROK) Garden in Lao PDR”.
The deadline for the submission of the Proposal (Technical and Financial Proposal) will be Friday, April 18, 2025 at 3PM. The Proposal must be submitted by hand delivery to the following address: Planning and Cooperation Division, Department of Forestry, That Dam Road, Vientiane, Tel: (856) 21-215000 or (856) 20-28 899 428. The Technical Proposal shall also be submitted via email to [email protected].
To qualify for participating this bidding, the Bidders shall meet the minimum Eligibility and Qualification criteria specified in the Bidding Documents.
Interested Bidders are kindly requested to submit a Letter of Intent by Tuesday, February 25, 2025, using the standard form provided in the Bid Documents.
A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference with Site Orientation will be held on Wednesday, March 05, 2025 at 1:30PM at the Project Site (Korea and Lao PDR REDD+ Cooperation Office, Houay Nhang Botanical Garden, Xaythany District, Road no.10, Vientiane Capital, Lao PDR)
Only Bidders who have submitted a valid Letter of Intent will be permitted to attend the Pre-bid Conference.
The Bidder shall bear all expenses related to the preparation and submission of the Proposal. The Bidder is expected to examine all instructions, forms, terms, drawings and specifications in the Bidding Documents and to furnish with its Proposals all information and documentation as is required by the Bidding Documents. Failure to furnish all information and documentation required by the Bidding Documents may result in the rejection of the Proposal.
