(AFoCO RETC) Invitation to the 2025 AFoCO-KOAGI Keep Eternally Your Seeds for Future (KEYS for Future) Program

The Asian Forest Cooperation Organization (AFoCO), in partnership with the Korea Arboreta and Gardens Institute (KOAGI) and the Baekdudaegan Global Seed Vault (BGSV), is dedicated to strengthening seed conservation across Asia. As biodiversity declines due to deforestation and climate change, seed conservation remains a vital ex-situ strategy.

In line with this mission, the AFoCO Regional Education and Training Center (RETC) is pleased to invite you to participate in the “2025 AFoCO-KOAGI Keep Eternally Your Seeds for Future (KEYS for Future) Program,” on 9–20 June 2025, in the Republic of Korea.

The participants will have the opportunity to attend the 11th International Congress on Education of Botanic Gardens (ICEBG), offering insights into the role of botanic gardens in human well-being and technological advancements in education and research.

This program will target participants from Bhutan, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Mongolia, and Thailand with each country encouraged to nominate two (2) participants by 15 April 2025.

The final selection of four (4) participants will be based on their professional background, work experience, field expertise, and health condition.

For any inquiries, please contact to Ms. Aomjitr SENA (e-mail: [email protected]), Fellowship Official of the Capacity-Building and Evaluation Team.
