The AFoCO Science and Technology Exchange Partnership (STEP) Program provides specialized training for mid-level government officials from AFoCO Member Countries to enhance expertise in forestry-related fields.In 2025, in collaboration with the Korea Arboreta and Gardens Institute (KOAGI) and Sejong National Arboretum, the program will focus on arboretum and garden management.
In line with this mission, the AFoCO Regional Education and Training Center (RETC) is pleased to invite you to participate in the “2025 AFoCO-KOAGI Science and Technology Exchange Partnership (STEP) Program,” on 9 – 20 June 2025, in the Republic of Korea.
The participants will have the opportunity to attend the 11th International Congress on Education of Botanic Gardens (ICEBG), offering insights into the role of botanic gardens in human well-being and technological advancements in education and research.
This program will target participants from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan with each country encouraged to nominate three (3) participants by 15 April 2025.
The final selection of four (4) participants will be based on their professional background, work experience, field expertise, and health condition.
