Call for Training Proposals for Community Development Training in 2021

In accordance with Decision 40-IV-20R at the 4th AFoCO Assembly approving the Work Plan and Budget for 2021, particularly Item F-01 Training Programs of the AFoCO RETC, we would like to call for the submission of proposals for Community Development Training in 2021.

To maximize the impact of the training, the AFoCO RETC is implementing the said training with the Parties’ participatory approaches upon their in-country training proposal. We expect that this community development training will help promote inclusive and effective community participation with an emphasis on the implementation of livelihood and enterprise development.

We kindly request each Party to submit their in-country training plan with an official cover letter to Soozin Ryang, Program Officer ([email protected]) by 15 July 2021 if they are interested in conducting in-country trainings. Considering the COVID-19 pandemic, blended training platforms (e.g. video production, publication, leaflet, on-/off-line workshop, etc.) are also welcome.

The submitted plan will be reviewed and evaluated based on its responsiveness and alignment with the overall capacity-building strategy of AFoCO. Three (3) proposals out of the submitted applications will be selected to be implemented as training courses. For more information, please refer to the attached template and the evaluation criteria for your development (Annex-1 and Annex-2).
