The initiatives will include creating urban forests and engaging in community service projects at local schools in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, starting in October.
Key aspects of the AFoCO-T’way Air partnership include joint forest conservation and restoration projects in developing countries, where AFoCO has overseas cooperation projects. They will also work together on restoring domestic forests damaged by climate change and wildfires.
