September 15, 2025 – The Asian Forest Cooperation Organization (AFoCO) and the International Forestry Students’ Association (IFSA) Korea signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 15 September 2025. Representing AFoCO, Dr. Chongho PARK, Executive Director, and Jeong-eun SEO, President of IFSA Korea, attended the signing ceremony.

IFSA Korea is the national chapter of the world’s largest network of forestry students, providing a platform for young professionals to exchange knowledge, develop leadership skills, and engage in international cooperation on forestry and environmental issues.
The partnership aims to foster collaboration in forestry education, sustainable forest management, and climate action. By engaging future forestry professionals, the MoU will provide opportunities for knowledge exchange, leadership development, and joint initiatives addressing global environmental challenges.
