On 19 February, Mr Chencho Norbu, Executive Director of AFoCO and Dr. Kim Jaehyun, MInister of Korea Forest Service join hands by signing an MOU for mutual partnership.
AFoCO and KFS reaffirmed their close relations to achieve the very objectives of AFoCO to effectively translate proven technologies and policies on the ground to achieve greener and healthier Asia.
This mutual partnerships will contribute to smooth implementation of the AFoCO Strategic Plan, including the areas of forest restoration and community-based small business development. .
Collaboration on promoting peace on the Korean Peninsula will be also explored.
