AFoCO tackles a variety of issues pertinent in forestry through sustained cooperation with our member countries. Since 2012, AFoCO has been carrying out regional and country-specific projects designed to complement and enhance forest-related national policies and programs, facilitate knowledge exchange and technology transfer, and promote the sustainable management of forests and forest resources to curb forest degradation and address the impacts of climate change. Our action-oriented approaches also contribute to global forestry objectives and the Sustainable Development Goals.
