The Second Friends of Asia and Asian Forests (FAAF) Forum was held on 29 October 2024, Seoul.
The 2nd FAAF Forum provided the opportunity to (i) foster a dialog between government and the private sector on sustainable forest management, carbon neutrality, ESG, and CSR practices; (ii) share best practices of ongoing and upcoming public-private partnerships and discuss possibilities for innovative financing mechanisms through forest carbon; and (iii) showcase how collaboration with FAAF can accelerate the achievement of SDG targets.

Asian Forest Cooperation Organization (AFoCO) is a treaty-based intergovernmental organization aiming to strengthen forest cooperation by transforming proven technologies and policies into concrete actions in the context of sustainable forest management to address the impacts of climate change.

We are headquartered in Seoul, the Republic of Korea, with a subsidiary body, the AFoCO Regional Education and Training Center (RETC), in Yangon region, Myanmar.
