“From Carbon to Co-Benefits: Rethinking Forest Investment in Asia”
Bringing together stakeholders from governments, financial institutions, technical experts, and grassroots practitioners, the 3rd FAAF Forum facilitated dialogue, showcased scalable models, and fostered partnerships that promote resilient landscapes and inclusive climate action — moving beyond carbon, toward people and nature.
AFoCO Partners Dialogue
“Healthy Forests for Foods: Nourishing People, Sustaining the Planet”
On the occasion of AFoCO Week, the AFoCO Partners Dialogue was organized as a platform for in-depth discussions on global policy discourse led by international organizations and development partners. The Dialogue was structured to ensure that these discussions and high-level partnerships translate into tangible outcomes, ultimately supporting shared goals and advancing AFoCO’s overall mission.
The collective insights from the Dialogue were intended to be more than internal takeaways. The distilled outcomes and consensus reached were positioned to feed directly into high-level discussions at major international events—such as key UN meetings, global summits, and international conferences. This linkage helped elevate regional priorities to the global stage, ensuring that the unified voice and actionable proposals of AFoCO and its partners can meaningfully influence broader international agendas and future policy directions.
The 2025 AFoCO Partners Dialogue was organized under the theme “Healthy Forests for Foods” to explore the critical links between forests, food security, and nutrition, and to share country experiences from across the region. It also aimed to develop recommendations to strengthen the role of forests in supporting food security and sustainable agriculture.
