AFoCO is launching a regular webinar series aimed at managing knowledge and information gained through AFoCO projects to support future project development and share outputs and best practices with relevant stakeholders. In the first webinar of the series on ‘Forest Fire Management in the Tropics’, speakers and experts will deliver presentations on the status of forest fire management in the tropics and share best practices and challenges and opportunities in forest fire management. The webinar is expected to provide baseline information on the AFoCO regional project on forest fire management to be approved by the ASEAN-Korea Forest Fund and help prepare for the forest fire forum to be held during XV World Forestry Congress in 2022.
The webinar will be organized over two days on 8 and 9 December as follows:
