About FAAF
The Friends of Asia and Asian Forests (FAAF) is an initiative of the Asian Forest Cooperation Organization (AFoCO) in collaboration of private sector to promote sustainable development and climate solutions through forest-based actions in Asia.
FAAF serves as a platform that brings together corporate and other leaders to spearhead collective action toward achieving Net Zero across Asia and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Reducing annual carbon footprint by one megaton in Asia through forest ecosystem restoration and conservation, while helping to stabilize local livelihood
- Megaton Challenge
Creating positive impact and contribute to the Sustainable development Goals (SDGs) through activities that align the interests of participating stakeholders with the needs of Asian countries

CAMP
Ecosystem restoration is a complex task and transcends across sectors. AFoCO is proud to be a Supporting Partner of the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (UN Decade). As a part of #GenerationRestoration, AFoCO will join other international and civil organizations in building evidence-based recommendations for the UN Decade and reach out into new sectors and communities.
