Technical Guidelines for Control and Prevention of Pests and Diseases in Teak Plantations in Myanmar (AFoCO/014/2020)

These technical guidelines summarize fieldwork from the “Integrated Pest and Disease Management in Teak Plantations in Bago Region, Myanmar (AFoCO/014/2020)” project. They detail 15 insect pest species (11 major, 4 minor) affecting teak plantations, their control measures, and three natural enemies, including their identification, life cycles, and predatory behaviors. Guidelines also cover symptoms, causes, cycles, and management of 10 major diseases observed in the project area. This document provides practical recommendations for effective pest and disease management in teak plantations across Myanmar.
