1. Grand Opening of the Forest Pavilion

Mr. Jin Sunpil, Vice Executive Director of AFoCO, will deliver opening remarks at the inaugural Forest Pavilion ceremony, emphasizing the collective role of forests in global climate mitigation, adaptation, and sustainable development. This landmark event will unite partners including the UNFFS, FAO, ADB, and many others to spotlight forests as essential components of climate discussions.

2. AFoCO Side Event: “Advancing Forest Policies for NDC Achievement and Carbon Market Access through International Cooperation

This flagship side event hosted by AFoCO will focus on enhancing international climate cooperation through robust forest policy frameworks and legal instruments. 3. Presentation at the CSDLAP Side Event: Seminar on Jurisdictional Approaches under Article 6.2 of the Paris Agreement

Mr. Sungho Choi, Team Leader, Carbon Team of AFoCO, will participate in this seminar aimed at exploring experiences in implementing Article 6 activities at the jurisdictional level. The VED of AFoCO will deliver a presentation focusing on international emission reduction efforts in the forestry sector.

4. Panelist at the KoFPI Side Event: The Role of the Korean Carbon Market for Increasing Forest Carbon Sinks

This session will provide an overview of Korea’s carbon market development, achievements, and challenges.
