The project strengthens Myanmar’s teak forest resilience through Integrated Pest and Disease Management (IPDM). It establishes monitoring systems, develops management guidelines, upgrades diagnostic labs, and builds stakeholder capacity. The initiative improves forest health and sustainable plantation management, offering a science-based, scalable model for biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, and long-term productivity while enhancing institutional collaboration for effective pest and disease control.
