Meet our STEP Program participants

Videos created by our 2022 AFoCO Science and Technology Exchange Partnership (STEP) Program.
In 2022, AFoCO collaborated with the Baekdudaegan National Arboretum (BDNA) to carry out a long-term training course for government officials on “The Role of Arboretums in the Conservation of Forest Plant Biodiversity.” From September 19 to October 14, 2022, our participants were at the BDNA learning about plant conservation, (i.e. classification of forest plants, seed collection, seed management, tissue culture, seed viability test and propagation) as well as the operational aspects of arboretum management.
