Pocheon, Republic of Korea — On May 8, AFoCO staffs and fellows visited the Korea National Arboretum for a tree planting activity and study visit and further strengthened the partnership between the two organizations.
Tree Planting in the bufffer zone of KNA
With the support of “Gluri”, AFoCO planted 150 Tilia amurensis (linden trees) in the buffer zone designated in areas adjacent to the arboretum, contributing to the forest restoration of the buffer zone and the securing of tree genetic resources.



Study visit of KNA
During the study visit, AFoCO staff and fellows joined a guided tour exploring the diverse plant species and ecosystems within the arboretum, enhancing their understanding of endangered native plant species found in the biosphere reserve.
